Hour of Code

This week we had another successful and informative Hour of Code event with our Year 1 and Year 2 students.

The Hour of Code is a fun way of teaching children the importance of computer science. The ultimate aim is to make coding easy for everyone!

The students enjoyed participating in various activities that enabled them to understand coding in a simplified and hands-on way. Each activity was designed to teach the principles of programming, algorithms, and how to accurately follow a set of instructions.

Teddy Bear Raffle

The Parents Community Association held their Teddy Bear Raffle this week and it was a huge success! Each child who bought a raffle ticket received a Magic Planet card and the chance to win an adorable teddy bear dressed in our distinctive BSB uniform.

Drawings were held during our weekly class assemblies and the lucky winners were ecstatic to receive their cuddly prizes! A big thank you to parents who purchased a ticket!

Here are the lucky winners!

Last Day of Autumn Term Arrangements

On Thursday, 14th December, Bahrain National Day will be celebrated across the whole school. Therefore, all BSB children are invited to come to school wearing red and white clothes or dressed in traditional Bahraini outfits.

Please be reminded that on Thursday, 14th December all students in the Infant School will finish at 12:00. Bus children will leave school at 11:30am. Please ensure that necessary arrangements are made to have someone at home to receive your child.

Congratulations to all our ‘Super Stars’ this week!
