Dear Parents,

What a fantastic first term we have had at BSB Infant School! It has been a long but fruitful term. Having worked hard, both the children and staff will be ready for a break and the opportunity to recharge their batteries. As the Autumn Term draws to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents for the support they have given both to their child and to the school, and also to thank all the fantastic staff at the Infants for their incredible hard work and commitment.

On behalf of everyone at BSB Infant School, we wish you and your loved ones a restful winter holiday and a New Year of health and happiness.

I look forward to seeing all our students after the break at the normal time on Wednesday, 3rd January 2017.

Nursery and Reception Concert

We were treated to some sensational singing from our Nursery and Reception children this week. They certainly showed what ‘big voices’ they have and sang with great enthusiasm.

The children looked wonderful and sang their hearts out! The appreciation of the audience was obvious by the applause and cheering. Well done to all the children – we were very proud of them.

A special ‘thank you’ to all the parents for providing the children’s festive costumes and for coming to watch and support the children.

National Day Celebrations

A colourful celebration marking Bahrain’s National Day was held today at the British School of Bahrain. Bahrain is a very special place to be, and that was certainly made known today at our National Day celebrations. The school was full of the familiar sights, sounds and smells that make up Bahrain. All in all, it was a day full of fun!

Here is a video of one of our Nursery classes singing a song about Bahrain.

National Day Assembly

Year 1 and Year 2 children displayed a special National Day assembly on Wednesday.  They treated their valuable audience, their parents, with poetry, dancing and singing. Here are a few pictures of this special occasion:

The Jolly Postman- Panto

The students of KS1 and Reception received a very special visit on Sunday from none other than the Jolly Postman and his horde of friends! The children couldn’t contain their laughter while watching the Jolly Postman deliver surprise letters to notable characters such as the cackling Wicked Witch, the bewildered Baby Bear, the glamorous Cinderella, the sneaky Wolf in disguise, and the mischievous Goldilocks. Each character read their letters aloud to the children’s amusement.

It was an exciting and entertaining experience for the students.

Best wishes for a successful and happy 2018!
