This week will be a very busy week for us in school. We have last minute rehearsals, dress rehearsals and costume fittings before our big performance on Tuesday; we will also have the opportunity to watch the Y1 dress rehearsal.
Amidst all this we have a fantastic travel guide about our class’s chosen country to complete, so that we can take it home with us on Wednesday.
The rest of the week will be spent revising some of the things we have learned in Maths and Literacy this term.
The week will end with a short day on Wednesday, 11:30am finish for Infants, when we will celebrate International day.
As well as some interesting International lessons, the children will discover some of their friend’s favourite traditional dishes from their home countries during our snack time feast.
By the end of the week the children will certainly deserve their Spring break.
We can’t wait to see you all at our spring show on Tuesday.
- Show 1 will begin at 9am (2.1, 2.2, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7)
- Show 2 will begin at 10:30am (2.3, 2.4, 2.8, 2.9, 2.10)
On Wednesday, the children should come to school dressed in traditional dress from their home country, or the flag colours of their country. Snack bags will not be needed as each child should bring a dish from their country to share with their classmates at snack time.
