World Cup Parade

On Wednesday morning, to celebrate the World Cup, children in Year 1 and Year 2  paraded dressed in the colours of their classes’ adopted countries. This occasion is a good chance for us to celebrate being a school with students from all over the world.

Take a look at the highlights…

 KS1 Transition Day

Thursday 21st June saw our Key Stage 1 students looking to the future as our annual ‘Transition Day’ took place. Children in Year 1 and Year 2 had an exciting time as they had the opportunity to visit a class in the next year group. While our Year 2 children visited the Junior School for the first time, Year 1 children had the chance to spend some time in Year 2 to see what it is like to be in a Year 2 classroom. The children were full of smiles when they returned to their classes.

What an exciting day!

Year 2 Dance!

Year 2 children had a blast celebrating their time in the Infant School at our ‘Superheroes’ themed leavers disco yesterday.  The school cafeteria was converted into a concert hall for our students to party.

The highlight is always a special performance by their class teachers who, this year, surprised the children in their super-villain outfits, contrary to the actual theme of the evening, ‘Superheroes’. It was evident that the teachers had gone the extra mile to  produce a fabulous performance for their students.

Many thanks to class links and the team of parent volunteers for such a fabulous send off.
